Reader Opinions "I think Pikachu is one overrated mangy rat" 12-11-99 Edition (mm/dd/yy)
Sir Swish: The movie soundtrack is already out you pathetic 'NSYNC lover! Go download 'NSYNC's sorry-ass song!
Sir Swish: OKAY, BUT LAY OFF THE CAPS NEXT TIME!
Sir Swish: Hey Ramon! My parents bothering me about Pikacrap? Nope, my dad was bugging me about how I could like a such a "simplistic, crappy" game where two characters stand at opposite corners and shoot stuff at each other. He suggested that Sony makes better games, and that's when I really laughed my ass off!! Well, see ya at school then!
Sir Swish: The soundtrack is already up, so go check it out!
Sir Swish: Not nice to "mispell." The correct spelling is misspell.
Sir Swish: Airman dragged himself in line at Toys 'R' Us the day after Thanksgiving and didn't get anything because all the desperate little kids that had been there since 6 AM got their grubby little hands (covered with mud and cookies) on all the Mew cards. But of course the card is good! It's Mew, how can it be bad?!
Sir Swish: I don't know what the best price is for the Pokémon Game Boy, but I bet you could find it the cheapest on the black market. Interactive Pooh Bear?! What do I look like, a catalog?!
Sir Swish: Honestly, I'd give it 1 star. If the writers knew anything about the game then Pikachu shouldn't have been able to hurt that Golem at the beginning and I'd have given it 2 stars instead!
Sir Swish: You can probably find it at Toys 'R' Us if they have it in stock, which I'm sure they won't this holiday season. And now a special message for AOLers: please don't submit your email as your nickname for Reader Opinions because that can lead to major spamming and stalking from those sick, twisted people that roam the internet since they now know your email and your screen name. That is all.
Sir Swish: We could try to update more often, but we've better things to do. And there's no way we're letting in another Pikachu lover on the staff! I've seen your Pikachu praising on the board...it's just plain sick!! Just kidding of course! Heck, we let Shaggy in didn't we and he's the biggest Pikachu lover I know!
Japanese Kids: With OUL NEW Pocket Monstels Gord and Sirvel, WE'RR continue being the best Pokémon Mastels evel you stupid Amelicans! Sir Swish: I'm telling you, as long as you guys keep switching your "L's" and "R's" no one's gonna take you seriously! Japanese Kids: Don't terr us what to do, Sil Swish!!
Sir Swish: Couldn't have said it better myself! Wait, yes I could've...
Sir Swish: Yup, we got 'em!
Sir Swish: No, your mama's!
Sir Swish: No! For the love of God no!
Sir Swish: That's one of the "10 Brand New Songs" mentioned on the CD cover. It's never been played in the cartoon.
Sir Swish: Guess I don't have to call you Silver, since you're not going to be a staffer!
Sir Swish: What new intro song are you talking about? Grr...those damn Canadians, they think they're better than us, but they know they suck!
Writers of the Pokémon Cartoon: We suggest using Ghost Pokémon because they have the advantage ovel Psychic Pokémon. Sir Swish: Idiots, it tells you right there in your Battle Chart for the PKMN Game Boy games that Ghosts are weak against Psychics!! You guys better gimme some of the weed you're smoking because you're so high you don't know what the Hell you're talking about! I'd use Mewtwo for beating Mewtwo, since Mewtwo is basically the strongest Pokémon there is, well not in Pokémon Gold or Silver though...
Sir Swish: I haven't sat down to play it yet, but what I hear from the other staffers is that it rocks!
Sir Swish: Who's taking all the credit for Pokémon? You didn't seem to specify anyone in particular, so I'm assuming you were going to say Nintendo. Why shouldn't they, if Nintendo of America holds the copyrights to it everywhere outside Japan and Southeast Asia! Both Nintendo and Game Freak own Pokémon, but since Nintendo is the more recognized owner that's the reason you see their name and logo everywhere. Tell me that you knew who Game Freak was before Pikachu showed his fat, ugly, yellow face to the world?! C'mon tell me! See, you can't! Nintendo took interest in the game during its development and provided major funding for it. Heck, Nintendo's main man, the Great Shigeru Miyamoto, is the producer of the Pokémon games, though Satoshi Tajiri is the director since he's the creator of it all. And anyways, it always says "© 1998 [or whatever year the thing was copyrighted] Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures" at the bottom of anything related to Pokémon, doesn't it? |
