News: Pikachu Will Cross the Pacific
Well, Pikachu
isn't literally going to cross the Pacific; the
fat, yellow, overrated rat's N64 game, Pikachu
Genki Dechu, will be coming to the US. As you may
already know, in this game you control Pikachu by
speaking to him via a microphone that connects to
the N64 Controller. Don't worry about finding the
mic, the game comes with it. The graphics in this
game look better than Pokémon Snap's graphics,
and there's sure to be more levels than there
were in Snap. Nintendo hasn't set a concrete
release date yet for Pikachu Genki Dechu in the
US, but since the Japanese to English translation
is already well under way expect it here in
Spring 2000 or later. Oh, and obviously the
game's name will be changed to something you can
actually pronounce!
Sir
Swish: I will NEVER
buy this game!!
Charmarathon
and When Grown-ups Get it and Don't Get it Week
Next Saturday
Kid's WB will show six old episodes about
everyone's favorite fire Pokémon, Charmander, as
well as his evolved forms. As for this week's
episodes, they'll be about adults that the trio,
Ash, Misty, and Brock, have ran into that love
(Bill the Poké-Expert, Seymour the
Clefairy-loving scientist) or hate (the miner
from the Diglett episode) Pokémon.

Board
C'mon guys, get in on the conversation in the PU
Message Board! So far we only have a
disappointing amount of 15 members! Oh, and
please don't neglect the General Smack Forum so
much, it should be the most popular one since
it's the only forum not constricted to just
Pokémon!
Have a heart and go
post something in General Smack

Opinions
The Opinions are finally back after missing out
on the last couple of updates! Swish pokes fun at
the Japanese's pronunciation of the letters
"L" and "R" in today's
edition!
Today's Leadel Opinions
Airman:
Swish, you better apologize before we start
getting flamed!!
Sir
Swish: No!
Airman:
Do it or your ass is outta here!
Sir
Swish: Oh, all right! Before any
Japanese or Japanese-Americans start flaming
the site, I'd like to apologize for my
childish behavior: I'm sorry. But hey, it was
all for fun. I never meant to do any harm, so
let's all have a good laugh and forget this
ever ocurred!
Airman:
There's a good boy.
Sir
Swish: Shut up.
We want to hear from you!
