News: Shaggy's 1st Q and A
Within his
first week of joining the PU staff, Shaggy
managed to receive more questions for Q and A
than it has ever had: a whopping (well, at least
to our small site) total of five
emails! That's pretty good when you consider that
the overall average number of emails per edition
I ever received was about three. Well, without
further ado, I give you Shaggy's first offering
to the Underground: the Monday, November 15, 1999
Questions and Answers! They would've been up
sooner for a canned Saturday update, but we all
agreed that we just had to get some new songs up
from Airman's recent purchase, the Pokémon movie
soundtrack, for an explosive update a few days
later! And that brings us to our next news
item...Speaking of news, Shaggy also contributed
some news for this update. Thanks, man!
Today's crisply baked Questions
and Answers
Airman:
Damn that's shagadelic!
Pokémon:
The First Movie Soundtrack
Since when he bought the CD on Saturday night,
Airman has managed to record and upload the first
four songs from the Pokémon movie soundtrack. Go
listen to 'em!

Pokémon
Movie
Airman and I went to see the movie, but,
unfortunately, they were out of the limited
edition TCG cards. Damn those desperate, little
wannabe Pokémon trainer kids, damn them! Well
both movies were good, except for the fact that
Pikachu was actually able to hurt that Golem in
the the beginning of Mewtwo Strikes Back
with an electric attack and that they made Mewtwo
invincible to every Pokémon except Mew!
Sir
Swish: Pikachu, how many little
kids' hearts have you broken by demonstrating
that you suck ass in the
game while they swore you were the
super-duper-ultra-unbeatable Pokémon from
only watching the cartoon at first?
Pikachu:
Oh, I'd say about every one of them. But you
PU guys knew I sucked ass all along! You're
pretty smart! Well, except for Shaggy, since
he loves me! Mwahahahahaha!!
You can diss Pikachu
some more in the PU Message Board!
Earthquake
affects Pocket Monsters Silver and Gold
Because of the recent Earthquake in Taiwan, the
release of Pocket Monsters Silver and Gold
should've been pushed back since Nintendo's
cartridge-making factories are in that country.
Well, Nintendo Company Ltd. has stated that the
release date for Gold and Silver will not be
pushed back, but there will only be limited
quantities available for the first run. So on
November 21 there will only be 1.8 million copies
on sale, with another 600,000 to go on sale on
December 1.
When
Pokémon Don't Obey Week
Looks like Kids WB can't settle for showing the
series in order, so they do dumb, special
miniseries like these every week using a mix of
episodes. This week's topic is Pokémon
disobedience. Today's episode was the first
episode of Pokémon, when Pikachu didn't obey Ash
at all. Expect to see Charmeleon and Charizard in
this week's episodes!
