News: WE AIRMAN WON!!
Airman and I
went to a Pokémon League Nintendo Training Tour
'99 Tournament yesterday and he won both the
Boulder Badge and the Cascade Bagdge in the Prime
Cup (Lvl 70-100 Pokémon only, with a combined
Lvl less than or equal to 300)! We had to make
last minute changes to our team, so it ended up
being: Blastoise, Articuno, Dragonite (sorry
Gengar!), Starmie, Mewtwo, and Jolteon. He used
the latter three to fight. I couldn't compete
because I don't have my own Game Boy and Airman
chose to let Shawn's (c'mon, you guys know that
guy from my Dragon Ball page) friend use his GBC
over me. Well, I didn't get in line to register
to compete in the first place so I guess I was
screwed from the start. Although Airman won both
badges, he wasn't selected in the drawing to go
fight a gym leader. Even though he didn't fight a
gym leader, Airman still received one of the
Pokémon caps that the gym leaders give out to
players who battle them (win or lose, they get
it) for coaching Shawn's friend (who competed in
the Poké Cup, Pokémon Lvl 50-55, with a
combined Lvl less than or equal to 155) while he
(the friend) was battling the gym leader. The
Nintendo lady who battled Shawn's friend was
personally going to give Airman a cap, but he
left as soon as Shawn's friend lost. Luckily,
Shawn's friend was nice and gave him his cap.
Speaking of Shawn, he was caught cheating when he
pulled out a Level 55 Mewtwo as he was fighting a
gym leader (he was selected to fight a gym leader
too). The fag gym leader bitched about that you
can only find Mewtwo at Level 70 and Shawn was
disqualified. I don't know why they didn't
disqualify him from the start, since he was using
a Gameshark right when he was registering himself
for the Poké Cup! Overall, the Tourney was
pretty boring from my point of view, and Airman
and I ended up with aching legs, for standing for
four hours (Airman might have
gotten varicose veins), and headaches. But we
won, and that's all that matters. Airman promises
to write up a long editorial about his
Tourney-experience before Thanksgiving! I'll also
have all the Pokémon goodies (mostly stickers
and pamphlets) we were given scanned and posted
before Christmas!
Airman:
Haw haw, no cap for you Shawn!
The
Pokémart at Sears
Last week I saw a commercial on TV about
something called called the Pokémart at Sears.
It looks like they sell Pokémon merchandise and
clothing there, so you might want to head to
Sears if you desperately need Pikachu and the
Pokémon logo covering your body.
Sir
Swish: Heh, looks like Shaggy will
be beating the snot out of those little kids
for some Pikachu pajamas!
Emulator
Link Fixed
We received a comment about a dead link for the
Windows Game Boy emulator yesterday. I got off my
ass and fixed it as soon as I read it, so you can
now download the idiot-proof Windows emulator.
Get
the emulator (finally)
Pokédex
Whoops, looks like I forgot to post these two new
entries, Gengar and (gulp!) Pikachu, when I made
them a couple of months ago. Sorry!

Deconstructing
Pokémon Sites...Where are you?
I'm sorry
'Kebie', but unless your site gets rid of that
Pika-porn and brings back the rest of the good
content, you won't get the PU's support. We've
pulled your button off our site as well as your
link in the Links section.
