News: See Pokémon Movie Earlier!
Contradicting
traditional Nintendo deadlines
(cough...delays...cough), the release date for
the Pokémon Movie has been moved up two days for
a premier on Wednesday, November 10, 1999! Why
they moved the date up is anyone's guess, but at
least now we've got more time to get those
limited-edition Pokémon Trading Card Game cards!
Airman:
Damn, the obese, short, annoying, yellow rat
is gonna kill Toy Story 2!
Sir
Swish: Damn that Pikachu, there's
just no stopping that overrated SOB! Gee...I
wonder who's gonna beat Mewtwo. That was
supposed to be sarcastic, people.
The
PU Is...Disappointed
Our new editor for
Q&A is pissed at you guys for not sending him
any questions, so how about dropping him a line
sometime? Sir Swish and I are also mad at you
ingrates for not sending in suggestions for our
Pokémon Tourney teams. Well, it's not like we
were going to listen to you guys anyways. Our
team will be composed of Articuno, Blastoise,
Mewtwo (insert surprised gasps here), Jolteon,
Zapdos, and the PU mascot, Gengar! We'll be
participating in a Pokémon Tournament tomorrow,
so wish us luck!
Help the Shagster
control his rage!
Sir
Swish: Uh oh...Shaggy's pulling out
an assault rifle...
Pokémon
Yellow and Pokémon Pinball
As promised on
the last update, we've got the English Language
ROMs of Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Pinball up
in the Games section.
Get
the games!
Why's
There a Rat In My Whopper?
Burger King's
eight-week Pokémon promotion begins Monday,
November 8th, where they'll be giving out 57
Pokémon toys in 58 days! These toys were made
exclusively for Burger King restaurants, so you
can't get them from any other place. The toys
will each come in their own Pokéballs in Burger
King Kid's Meals. Also, beginning on November
15th, you'll be able to buy one of six 23K
Gold-plated trading cards for $1.99 with the
purchase of BK food. The cards will feature
Pikachu (of course), Mewtwo, Jigglypuff,
Poliwhirl, Charizard, and Togepi. This promotion
will end December 31st, or when supplies run out.
Sir
Swish: I doubt that anyone in the
world can stomach that many consecutive Kid's
Meals without getting severe, explosive
diarrhea!
Cartman
Wants Chinpokomon
The South Park parody
of Pokémon (called Chinpokomon) had to be one of
the funniest episodes of the show ever! The
Japanese trying to bring down the US through
little kids and their toys and by flattering men
with compliments about the size of their
genitals?! Kenny getting a seizure from playing a
Chinpokomon video game about bombing Pearl
Harbor?! These, along with many other things,
were featured in the episode. If you missed it
you can catch it again on Saturday on Comedy
Central at 10:00 P.M. EST.
Sir
Swish: Dammit! I forgot the name of
Chinpokomon's Pikachu-wannabe!
Pokémon
