Pokémon Snap finally
came out in the U.S. (cough...and Canada...cough)
on Wednesday. The PU will review this new N64
game as soon as we can rent it. If you have
already played it please take Nintendo's survey.
Readers can review it in the new section, Reader
Reviews, which is in "The Closet".

Pokémon PC-bound
The Learning Company is bringing
Pikachu and his friends to a PC near you. To this
day, no TLC educational software has gotten high
replay value, but TLC and Nintendo think the
little monsters will keep kids interested. The
Jumpstart TLC Pokémon titles are scheduled to be
released this Fall.
Pikachu brands the Game Boy Color
It wasn't long before Pikachu got
his own Special Yellow Game Boy with a Pokémon
Yellow Game Pak included. To get this unit,
you'll have to either donate body parts or become
a drug dealer (not that we encourage it!) because
it will cost $109.95 (Ouch!). Those who bought
Pokémon Yellow separately will feel ripped off
because as of
now, Nintendo hasn't announced that this unit
will be sold individually. Judging by the
popularity of Pokémon, this will probably be the
best selling Game Boy out of them all. Nintendo
of Japan (NCL) had a similar promotion with an
orange Pocket Monsters Game Boy Color, and it
sold incredibly well. We have pictures of both
the US and Japanese Limited Edition GBCs.

Look at all the new stuff!
First of all,
there's the page's new look. Do you like it (send
complaints or compliments to Sir Swish)? Even before Swish
thought of giving the site a new look, he'd
already created the Games section, which was
originally mentioned by Airman. The Codes section
was started after being requested by one of our
readers. We're also going to review Pokémon
games as well as preview upcoming ones. Swish's
crowning achievement, the PU Message Board (which
is made by a CGI script, not by him!), is up too!
Oh, and that strangely-named section (you know
which one!), why not learn what it's about by
actually going there?!
Swish:
I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing lots of
compliments in my inbox about the PU's new
look...
Pokémon Soundtrack CD
Contradicting what he said on a past update,
Airman decided to actually buy the television
Pokémon Soundtrack and post the songs on the
site as MP3s, instead of just swiping other
people's MP3s. Well, what are you waiting for? Go
hear 'em!

Pokémon in Super Smash Bros.
Two months after being first spoken about,
Swish's Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. guide is
finally up! Be sure to check it out!
The Guide
Swish:
Even though I don't like the Pokémon
fighters in SSB, I made the guide
since Airman couldn't find the time of day to
get off his lazy butt and do something for
the site.
